    VOTE!

Post that you voted in the comments. I don't care who you voted for, just let me know that you did. Long live democracy, or at least what passes for it here in the US.

    Report vote-machine problems to 1-866-OUR-VOTE
If you experience any irregularities in voting today, call 1-866-OUR-VOTE, the hotline for the National Campaign for Fair Elections. EFF lawyers and many others are standing by across the country to take legal action to remove malfunctioning voting machines, keep polls open, etc.

I voted. Had to choose between Henry Ford Jr., who is the great-grandson of Henry Ford, and is in charge of the Mustang division, I think, and Bob Barker, who just announced his retirement from TPIR & wants to get into Tennessee politics, it seems.... Somehow, he was governor of Chattanooga in there too, I don't really know how???

Posted with permission for Elizabeth, one of the people I've met here in the city of concrete. Edited for relevant content.

well, i DID do my civic duty and there were a couple of GREAT things about it
    1) I parked illegally and didn't get a ticket. We all parked willy nilly. In the red, blocked alleys - it was great. And I think intentionally, the parking Nazis took the high road tonight...

By the way: STAR SIGHTING AT THE POLLS TODAY: Lorraine Newman. Well, it almost doesn't get better than that! I thought I had everyone beat with Henry Winkler at the UCLA Millennium Ball, but I would give up TWO Henry's AND a Nicollette Sheridan for a Lorrainne Newman.

I have a better sighting. I got to stand in line with Sam Jack Smith.

I call it. MDS35 wins. Wet poo trumps star sightings.
